Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee assigned line(s), drive productivity, quality, safety, and operational excellence on a daily basis.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manpower use, coach Line Leaders, and review process documentation while supporting new product development and engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in production leadership or supervisory roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

About the role

Reporting to the Supervisor, the Team Leader is responsible for overseeing assigned production lines to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and operational excellence. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement, optimizing manpower utilization, and supporting the achievement of production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned production line(s) to achieve daily production targets.


• Monitor daily production efficiency and implement effective corrective actions when required.


• Optimize line productivity through continuous improvement initiatives.


• Promote and maintain the highest standards of product quality, workplace safety, and operational discipline.


• Monitor and support Line Leaders to ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining product quality standards.


• Conduct daily morning meetings to review performance, discuss operational issues, and communicate preventive and corrective actions.


• Support Line Leaders in employee performance evaluations and provide coaching and performance feedback.


• Develop, maintain, and improve standard work instructions and work processes.


• Support New Product Development (NPD) activities, including process implementation and trial runs.


• Review and verify engineering drawings and production-related documentation.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in engineering


• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production leadership, manufacturing, or supervisory role.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).


• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
