Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Production Support professional to join our Banking & Financial Services team in Singapore River Central Region. You will ensure smooth operation and maintenance of production systems and applications supporting critical banking operations, delivering rapid issue resolution to maintain system availability and performance.

Role requires 5-7 years of Banking sector experience with production support, strong SQL/PLSQL, ETL tooling, and data warehouse

Qualifications

• Experience in Banking sector with Application Developer/Production support background within the Wealth Management industry.
• Proven ability to communicate with clients, business, vendors, management and project team at all levels.
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Proficient in SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Understand and debug Oracle procedures, functions and triggers.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline management.
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and star/snowflake schemas.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses like Google BigQuery is a plus.
• Unix/Linux shell scripting and Windows batch scripting.
• Oracle PL/SQL queries development and trouble shooting.
• Monitoring tools including Control-M and Tivoli/Geneos.

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Production Support professional to join our Banking & Financial Services team. This is a full-time position based in the Singapore River Central Region. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of production systems and applications that support critical banking operations. You will be at the forefront of our service delivery, providing technical expertise and rapid issue resolution to maintain system availability and performance for our financial services clients. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality services in the fast-paced banking sector.

What we're looking for

Role: Production Support

Experience: 5-7 years

Experience in Banking sector with Application Developer/Production support background within the Wealth Management industry

Able to demonstrate team skills with a proven ability to communicate with clients, business, vendors, management and project team at all levels.

Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle (EXCC) and SQL server

Proficiency in SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Able to understand and debug Oracle procedures, function and triggers.

Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS) and data pipeline management.

Understanding of data warehouse concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and dimensional modelling.

Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (Google BigQuery) is a plus.

Unix file systems, commands, shell scripting development and trouble shooting
