Job summary

IT Managers Inc. is seeking an experienced Core Banking Developer to learn, configure, enhance, integrate, and support a new core banking system. You will work with business users, technology teams, and partners, evolving into an SME for platform stability and enhancements.

The role requires 5+ years in software development within banking/fintech, strong SQL/Oracle skills, and API integration capabilities. Expect a project-based arrangement with health benefits and leaves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting, implementing, or developing either TCS BaNCS, Infosys Finacle, or other major Core Banking Systems.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or fintech environments.
• Experience working on system implementation, enhancement, migration, or production support projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, customize, and support Finacle or TCS BaNCS modules
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the core banking platform
• Perform system configuration, parameterization, and product setup
• Support end-to-end system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, incidents, and production issues
• Coordinate with vendors and implementation partners on platform-related concerns
• Design and develop integrations between the core banking platform and peripheral banking applications
• Support API, middleware, batch processing, and interface development
• Participate in data migration and conversion activities
• Acquire deep functional and technical knowledge of the new core banking solution

About the role

Responsible for learning, configuring, enhancing, integrating, and supporting the new core banking system while working closely with business users, technology teams, implementation partners, and vendors. Over time, the role will evolve into a subject matter expert (SME) position responsible for platform stability, enhancements, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer to the broader support organization.
