Job summary

Bandai Namco Philippines in Lipa City, Batangas, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the production floor, ensure safe and high-quality output, and drive continuous improvement on a full-time basis.

About the role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our Lipa City Batangas facility on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital leadership position on the production floor, responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations and ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of our products. As a Production Supervisor, you will bridge the gap between management and production staff, translating operational objectives into measurable results whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct production floor activities, ensuring all staff adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules

• Monitor production output and efficiency metrics, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to meet targets

• Conduct regular training and coaching sessions with production team members to enhance skills and maintain compliance with company procedures

• Maintain accurate production records, documentation, and reports for management review and quality assurance purposes

• Inspect finished products for quality and defects, ensuring all items meet company standards before shipment

• Manage inventory levels of materials and equipment on the production floor, coordinating with supply chain teams as needed

• Address employee concerns and grievances promptly, fostering a positive and respectful workplace environment

• Collaborate with other departments including quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics to ensure seamless operations

• Conduct safety briefings and incident investigations, promoting a zero-accident culture on the production floor

• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and lower operational costs

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery operation, and quality control standards

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively

• Demonstrated ability to analyse production data and make informed decisions to improve efficiency and output

• Sound understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and best practices

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve issues quickly and implement preventative measures

• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with production management systems or ERP software

• High standards of personal integrity and accountability with a commitment to continuous learning

• Preferably educated to at least secondary level or equivalent professional qualification in manufacturing, operations, or a related field
