Job summary

MKS Workforce Management Services Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing operations in San Pablo City, Laguna. This full-time role oversees daily production activities, ensures quality standards, and leads a team of production staff to meet targets and improve efficiency.

You'll monitor processes, enforce safety, prepare reports, and coordinate shift schedules.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities to motivate production staff.
• Excellent organisational and time management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and drawings.
• Proven problem-solver focused on continuous improvement.
• Good written and verbal communication with management and staff.
• Familiarity with production management systems and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing.
• Preference for lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of production staff to ensure targets are met and deadlines are achieved.
• Monitoring production processes and equipment performance to maintain optimal efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Implementing and enforcing quality control procedures to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.
• Conducting regular inspections and audits of the production floor to maintain workplace safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Preparing and submitting production reports, including daily output, defect rates, and performance metrics.
• Scheduling work assignments and managing shift rotations to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Investigating production issues and implementing corrective actions to resolve problems and prevent recurrence.
• Training and developing production team members, providing guidance on proper procedures and best practices.
• Communicating with management regarding production status, challenges, and recommendations for operational improvements.
• Maintaining accurate records of production activities, inventory, and employee attendance.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies on the production floor.

What we're looking for

• Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, and quality control procedures

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting production specifications, technical drawings, and work instructions

• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and management

• Familiarity with production management systems and basic computer proficiency

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing environments

• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment

• Preferred: Experience with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
