Job summary

Coficab Philippines Inc. is seeking to optimize the production floor by enforcing policy compliance, coordinating scheduling with logistics, and ensuring inventory alignment with demand. The role focuses on data-driven monitoring, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across processes and equipment.

The incumbent will oversee 5S, maintenance reviews, and KPI-driven enhancements to meet production objectives and quality standards on the shop floor.

• Implements production department policies, processes and standard instructions.
• Leads scheduling with logistics: program analysis, detailed schedule development, and line wise orders.
• Defines inventory levels and allocation by article to meet consumables coverage.
• Monitors daily production progress and updates schedules to ensure availability and quality.
• Collects production data, checks process parameters, scrap and consumption; proposes corrective actions.
• Supports shop-floor execution and applies immediate corrective actions; 5S and cleanliness.
• Reviews maintenance activities and assists in evaluating new equipment/tools.
• Reviews KPIs and suggests continuous improvement plans.

Job description

• Implements the production department policies, processes, procedures, instruction, visual aid, information systems and cross functional improvement projects in line with corporate standard.

• Leads and Conducts scheduling activities in coordination with logistics department such as production program analysis, detailed schedule development, production orders allocation by line and human resources allocation on lines.

• Defines inventory level by article/part number according to the needs in line with the consumable's coverage objectives. Leads and Conducts copper calculation & scheduling activities such as schedules development including production requirements such as needed days, shifts and machines calculation and item allocation by machine.

• Monitors production daily program progress, defines and undertakes appropriated schedule updates to ensure products availability, optimized time and quality results, efficient speed and optimized raw materials and tools consumption and scrap quantities generated in order to meet target objectives.

• Collects and reviews production data, checks reported process parameters, changeover and start-up results, wire breaks, overconsumption, control plan results, scrap results. Identifies potential parameters discrepancies. Propose and implement immediate corrective actions by deploying Fast Problem-Solving technics.

• Follows up closely production execution on the shop floor, performs diagnostic of reported problems related but not limited to Repairs, Wire Break, overconsumption, work areas organization and cleanliless (5S) etc. Defines and supports the production execution team in the deployment of immediate corrective actions. Implements and monitors on-field results of defined actions plan.

• Reviews first and second level maintenance activities of the machine and its related equipment's. Participate to the development of Term Of references for new technical equipment's and tools acquisition. Performs technical validation of new acquired Equipment's and tools.

• Reviews production KPI's and propose accordingly continuous improvement plans of processes, procedures and systems to meet the Production Department and the Company's objectives.
