Job summary

Interphil Laboratories Inc. in Cabuyao, Laguna is seeking an experienced Production Section Head to lead manufacturing operations in line with cGMP, quality standards and production targets.

You will oversee daily production, optimize resources, manage manpower, and coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain to ensure efficient, compliant and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Willing to work in Cabuyao, Laguna and on shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations to meet schedules, quality standards, and productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, company policies, safety regulations and SOPs.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage manpower planning, work allocation and employee development.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse and Supply Chain for smooth production flow.
• Investigate deviations, equipment issues and process abnormalities and document resolutions.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on efficiency, waste reduction and cost optimization.
• Ensure proper documentation of batch records and production reports.
• Participate in audits and regulatory compliance activities.

Job Description

Interphil Laboratories Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Section Head to lead manufacturing operations in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), quality standards, and production targets. The successful candidate will oversee daily production activities, optimize resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations to achieve production schedules, quality standards, and productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor production performance, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage manpower planning, work allocation, and employee development to maintain a high-performing team.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth production flow.
• Investigate production deviations, equipment issues, and process abnormalities, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and cost optimization.
• Ensure proper documentation of batch records, production reports, and other manufacturing documents.
• Participate in audits and inspections and support regulatory compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in production planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
• Willing to work in Cabuyao, Laguna and on shifting schedules if required.
