Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Chemical/Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Food Technology).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience, preferably in cosmetics or GMP-regulated industries.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial production experience.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, production processes, quality systems, and production planning.
• Experience in cosmetics or personal-care manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Philippine FDA requirements and cosmetic GMP is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MRP is an advantage.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or shifting schedules when required.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet production targets and delivery schedules.

Manage the manufacturing process, including weighing, compounding, mixing, filling, packing, and labeling of cosmetic products.

Ensure production activities comply with approved formulas, batch records, SOPs, and GMP requirements.

Monitor production output, yield, manpower productivity, material usage, downtime, and production costs.

Coordinate with QA/QC, R&D, Warehouse, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Planning to ensure smooth operations.

Investigate production issues, deviations, rejects, and process inefficiencies and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Ensure proper sanitation, housekeeping, equipment operation, and safety practices within production areas.

Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate production staff and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular production performance reports.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, downtime, rejects, and manufacturing costs.

Assist with new product launches, production scale-up, process improvement, and product transfers.

Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits as required.
