Job summary

World Class Laminate Inc. is seeking a Production Planning and Inventory Control Staff (PPIC) to join our Pasig operations.

The role focuses on scheduling production, controlling inventory, and coordinating procurement activities to meet customer orders. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree (industrial engineering preferred) and has at least two years of PPIC experience, with strong computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering with preference for industrial engineering.
• Minimum of two years of experience in production planning and inventory control.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and word processing; familiarity with inventory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule production runs based on orders, inventory, lead times, and capacity.
• Issue work orders to production floor and track commitment dates.
• Monitor and adjust delivery plans for raw materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to align weekly output and production reports.
• Maintain stock levels (min-max) and manage procurement plans and supplier orders.
• Ensure POs, DRs, and SIs are properly matched and documented.
• Provide operational analytics and monitor sales performance for services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be Graduate of any engineering courses, preferrably industrial engineering.
• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience as production planning and inventory management.
• Computer literate (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.).
• Knowledge or Familiarity with any inventory system.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scheduling of production run based on customer orders, inventory levels, obsolescence, lead times, installation timing and production capacity.
• In-charge of providing JO to Production floor.
• Ensure that the commitment date can be attained by monitoring actual situation on the ground.
• Reviews, recommends, and execute delivery plans of the required raw materials and finished goods.
• Reconciles and aligns with manufacturing group regarding weekly output.
• Reviews production planned performance report monthly.
• Reviews, recommends, and maintains buffer levels of raw materials and components based on given demand/requirements.
• Ensures periodic evaluation of inventory levels of raw materials, components depending on the demand movement and space requirement.
• Ensure stocks are within Stocking levels (min-max) by daily monitoring of stocks, weekly stocks evaluation.
• Makes procurement plan (as needed, weekly & monthly) and possess order to suppliers.
• Ensure PO's, DR and SI are all matched.
• Provide operational analytics to the department head.
• Create and update monitoring of sales performance of each service.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate head.
