Job Summary
The Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure efficient use of resources, timely delivery of products, and alignment with demand forecasts. The role balances customer requirements, inventory levels, and production capacity while minimizing costs and disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets
- Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth production flow
- Monitor material availability and work closely with purchasing to avoid shortages or excess inventory
- Analyze capacity, labor, and machine utilization to optimize production efficiency
- Track production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, breakdowns, or demand changes
- Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems
- Prepare and analyze reports on production performance, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times, waste, and costs
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of production processes and supply chain concepts
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Willing to work On-site at Tanauan Batangas
- Can Start immediately.
