Job summary

Asia Cosmos Cosmetics Manufacturing in the Philippines is seeking a Production Manager to plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing activities to meet targets and delivery schedules.

The role involves supervising operations from weighing to labeling, ensuring GMP-compliant processes, and coordinating with QA, R&D, and other departments. Strong leadership, GMP knowledge, and experience in cosmetics manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Chemical/Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Food Technology).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience, preferably in cosmetics or GMP-regulated industries.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial production experience.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, production processes, quality systems, and production planning.
• Experience in cosmetics or personal-care manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Philippine FDA requirements and cosmetic GMP is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MRP is an advantage.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or shifting schedules when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production to meet targets.
• Manage weighing, compounding, mixing, filling, packing, and labeling.
• Ensure compliance with formulas, batch records, SOPs, and GMP.
• Monitor output, yield, manpower productivity, and costs.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, R&D, Warehouse, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Planning.
• Investigate deviations, rejects, and inefficiencies; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain sanitation, housekeeping, equipment operation, and safety.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate production staff.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce waste and costs.
• Assist with new product launches, scale-up, and transfers.
• Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
