Job description

Position Title: Plant Supervisor

Job Summary

The Plant Supervisor is responsible for the end-to-end management of the production facility. This role requires exceptional maturity and time management to lead a diverse team of technicians and helpers while maintaining a rigorous production schedule. The Supervisor ensures that all products are manufactured according to Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), following strict FDA and GMP guidelines, and meeting the company's "three (3) working day" fulfillment commitment.

I. Strategic Scheduling & Time Management

• Plans and schedules all department functions to ensure the prompt delivery of orders according to the required kind and account.
• Oversees the "three (3) working days process" for standard orders while ensuring priority BMRs are expedited without compromising quality.
• Monitors the flow of raw materials (RM) and finished goods, strictly implementing the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method to prevent wastage and damage.
• Coordinates the effective scheduling of team members and resources to meet fluctuating shipping and production requirements.

II. Staff Management & Leadership

• Leads and guides production staff, ensuring they perform their duties accurately and efficiently.
• Acts as the primary authority for maintaining order and discipline, with the obligation to report offenses and initiate due process for disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Coordinates in-house seminars on GMP, SOP, and company policies; provides direct coaching and counseling to subordinates.
• Ensures all personnel strictly adhere to PPE protocols (lab gowns, head caps, masks, and white closed shoes) and prohibits the wearing of jewelry in production areas.
• Assist in other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the management team.

III. Technical & Quality Oversight

• Oversees the conversion of sales orders to BMRs (Patimpla) and ensures that compounding mixing protocols, temperatures, and weights are executed precisely.
• Ensures all machines and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and tagged with status records; oversees daily in-house calibration of weighing scales.
• Assists in maintaining Quality Control (QC) records and regulatory documentation for the FDA.
• Suggests and develops key processes and procedures to ensure a smooth flow of operations, subject to management approval.

Qualifications & Professional Traits

• Must demonstrate a high level of "Professionalism" and "Uprightness," handling circumstances with competence and avoiding any conflict of interest.
• Technical personnel are required. Given the complexity of chemical compounding, BMR conversion, and equipment calibration, the Supervisor must have a strong technical background to catch deviations before they become costly errors.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or laboratory setting, preferably in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals.
• Must be a task-oriented "self-starter" capable of meeting strict deadlines and managing multiple sections simultaneously.

The role demands significant maturity to handle the "command responsibility" of the plant.
