The Production Management Assistant is mainly responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and controlling materials, machine/equipment, and documents on the production floor to execute and manage production operations.
Must possess at least a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemistry
Must have at least 1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry.
Experience from any manufacturing sector will be considered suitable for this role.
Fresh Graduates are also welcome to apply.
Must be proficient in MS Excel and other computer applications
Must have the ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, and Warehousing is also preferred.
The following skills are advantageous but not essential requirements for this position.
Statistical Analysis (e.g. Pareto, Statistical Process Control, Regression, Forecasting)
Comprehensive training will be provided for statistical analysis and process improvement methodologies.
Root Cause Analysis, (e.g. 5-whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa)
Lean Six Sigma (adept with DMAIC methodology) with Six Sigma Belt is an advantage
Report Making (KPIs and KRAs)
People Management
Planning background is an advantage.
Performing inventory management by ensuring proper receipt, storage, and issuance of production supplies;
Planning and ensuring stock arrangement pre-count in preparation for monthly inventory count;
Controlling the production documented information to ensure its availability and suitability for use and it is adequately protected;
Preparing documents using the access with the Weekly Production Schedule (WPS), Pro Forma Invoice (PFI), and Standards to comply with the client's product specifications;
Liaising with the Production Officers to ensure that objective evidence (OE) is available and/ or submitted on or before the set targets dates;
Preparing and acknowledging Work Order Request (WOR) and check the actual area;
Reporting any quality and food safety deviation, violations to company rules, and any untoward behaviour of personnel;
Preparing timely production reports, quality data, and FSSC-required data and information as required and directed;
Performing other duties as may be required.
