Job summary

JH Precision Philippines Inc. in Calamba, Laguna, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in stamping and injection molding areas.

You will plan manpower, machines, and schedules to meet customer requirements and ensure targets are achieved. You will monitor performance, ensure compliance with work instructions and quality standards, coordinate with Maintenance and Quality Control, manage scrap and downtime, and drive 5S, safety, and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the Stamping and Injection Molding production areas.
• Plan and organize manpower, machines, materials, and production schedules based on customer requirements.
• Monitor daily production output and ensure achievement of production targets.
• Ensure production activities are performed according to approved work instructions, process standards, and quality requirements.
• Monitor machine operation, production efficiency, downtime, and utilization.
• Coordinate with Maintenance regarding machine breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and equipment issues.
• Coordinate with Quality Control regarding product defects, inspection results, corrective actions, and process improvements.
• Monitor and control production scrap, rejects, rework, and material consumption.
• Ensure proper machine setup, mold/die changeover, and start-up procedures are followed.
• Supervise operators and technicians and ensure proper assignment of tasks.
• Conduct regular monitoring of operator performance, attendance, discipline, and productivity.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to production operators and technicians.
• Ensure proper implementation of 5S, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards in the production area.
• Investigate production problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor production records, including output, downtime, scrap, defects, and machine performance.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Coordinate with Planning/Warehouse regarding production priorities, materials, and delivery requirements.
• Ensure sufficient materials and consumables are available for continuous production.
• Support process improvement activities to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize production costs.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for stamping and injection processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality management system requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
