Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a Production Engineer – Electrical to ensure the production manager's schedule is executable from an electrical and engineering perspective. You will supervise electrical production activities, interpret drawings, verify installations, and guide technicians on the shop floor.

Requires a BS Electrical Engineering, preferably licensed, with strong drawing interpretation and experience with switchgear, busbar systems, and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Preferably registered electrical engineer.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings.
• Experience with single-line, control, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical electrical production.
• Interpret approved shop drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Verify breaker, busbar, CT, metering and component installation.
• Guide electricians/assemblers.
• Verify wiring requirements.
• Resolve technical production questions.
• Coordinate drawing discrepancies with Design Engineering.
• Prepare/verify production requirements before assembly begins.
• Check BOM against drawings and actual requirements.
• Assist Production Manager in identifying technical production risks.
• Ensure correct installation of electrical components.
• Monitor assembly workmanship.
• Coordinate with QA/QC regarding inspections and testing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical electrical production.
• Interpret approved shop drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Verify breaker, busbar, CT, metering and component installation.
• Guide electricians/assemblers.
• Verify wiring requirements.
• Resolve technical production questions.
• Coordinate drawing discrepancies with Design Engineering.
• Prepare/verify production requirements before assembly begins.
