Job summary

Advance Food Concepts Manufacturing, Inc. in Metro Manila seeks a Production Planner to analyze and consolidate daily production output, validate figures, and support production documents to ensure accuracy and timely confirmation in the SAP system.

You will prepare and coordinate schedules based on demand, inventory, manpower, and capacity, and work closely with Production, Warehouse, QA, Purchasing, and other departments to keep production on track and meet targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in production planning, production control, manufacturing operations, or related role; food manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, if required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and consolidate daily production output with Warehouse personnel and validate production figures in SAP.
• Monitor and control daily production activities to meet targets and schedules.
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor production schedules based on demand, inventory, manpower, and capacity.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, QA, Purchasing, and other departments for smooth operations.
• Monitor availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other production requirements to prevent delays.
• Track and analyze production output, downtime, material consumption, and variances.
• Prepare, update, and maintain accurate production reports, records, schedules, and documentation.
• Identify production issues and coordinate corrective actions with concerned departments.
• Ensure activities follow approved plans, quality standards, food safety requirements, and policies.
• Monitor actual vs planned production, analyze variances, and report to management with recommendations.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and consolidate daily production output in coordination with Warehouse personnel (Issuer/Receiver), and validate production figures and supporting documents prior to product confirmation in the SAP system to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies
• Monitor and control daily production activities to ensure production targets and schedules are achieved
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor production schedules based on demand, inventory levels, manpower, and production capacity
• Coordinate closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth production operations
• Monitor the availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other production requirements to prevent production delays
• Track and analyze production output, downtime, material consumption, and production variances
• Prepare, update, and maintain accurate production reports, records, schedules, and related documentation
• Identify production issues, delays, and variances and coordinate with concerned departments for appropriate corrective actions
• Ensure production activities are carried out in accordance with approved production plans, quality standards, food safety requirements, and company policies and procedures
• Monitor actual production versus planned production, analyze variances, and provide regular updates and recommendations to management

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in production planning, production control, manufacturing operations, or a related role; experience in food manufacturing is preferred
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and manufacturing processes
• Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
