Job summary

One Workforce Global Corporation seeks a Production and Supply Planner to develop and coordinate demand, production, and supply plans. You will forecast demand, translate forecasts into production requirements, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and external partners to optimize inventory and costs.

The role involves leading S&OP, coordinating with co-manufacturers, and driving manufacturing transitions and cost savings initiatives from planning through measurement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in demand planning, production planning, supply planning, S&OP, or related supply-chain work in food manufacturing or CPG.
• Strong analytical skills in forecasting, production planning, inventory management, and supply-chain analysis.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience; NetSuite familiarity a plus.
• Effective communication and collaboration across internal teams and external production partners.
• Rigorous attention to detail, accountability, and ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Experience implementing and tracking cost savings initiatives with co-manufacturers or external suppliers.
• Experience with co-manufacturers; multi-SKU, multi-location planning preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts using point-of-sale data, historical shipments, customer forecasts, promotions, distribution changes, and other inputs.
• Facilitate consensus forecasting with Sales and Marketing; challenge assumptions and ensure timely inputs.
• Translate approved forecasts into item- and location-level production plans based on inventory, lead times, capacity, and material availability.
• Coordinate production schedules with co-manufacturers, track commitments and receipts, investigate variances.
• Lead the S&OP process and align functions on forecast changes, production requirements, inventory, and supply risks.
• Monitor finished goods inventory across distribution centers and manufacturing locations, balancing service and working capital.
• Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for production plans, schedules, capacity, materials, and open issues.
• Coordinate supply readiness for new products, reformulations, packaging changes, launches, and transitions.
• Develop implementation plans for cost-saving initiatives, including milestones and financial impact.
• Maintain and improve forecasting, production planning, and inventory tools; validate data and resolve discrepancies.

About the role

The Production and Supply Planner develops and coordinates demand, production, and supply plans to ensure products are available when customers need them while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and supporting efficient manufacturing operations. The role owns demand forecasting, translates the forecast into actionable production requirements, and serves as a key operational link among Sales, Marketing, Finance, product development, co-manufacturers, suppliers, and distribution partners. The planner is the primary day-to-day planning contact for co-manufacturing partners, supports new product commercialization and manufacturing transitions, and owns execution of approved manufacturing and supply-chain cost savings initiatives from implementation planning through measurement of realized savings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts using point-of-sale data, historical shipments, customer forecasts, promotions, distribution changes, and other relevant inputs


• Facilitate consensus forecasting with Sales and Marketing; challenge assumptions, recommend adjustments, and hold contributors accountable for timely inputs


• Translate approved forecasts into item- and location-level production plans based on inventory, customer needs, lead times, capacity, and material availability


• Coordinate production schedules with co-manufacturers, track commitments and actual receipts, and investigate material quantity or timing variances


• Lead the S&OP process and align Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and co-manufacturers on forecast changes, production requirements, inventory, and supply risks


• Monitor finished goods inventory across distribution centers and manufacturing locations, balancing service, working capital, and demand uncertainty


• Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for production plans, schedules, capacity, materials, and open issues with co-manufacturers


• Coordinate supply readiness for new products, reformulations, packaging changes, customer launches, and transitions with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturers


• Develop implementation plans for approved manufacturing and supply-chain cost savings initiatives, including owners, milestones, required approvals, inventory transitions, and expected financial impact


• Maintain and improve existing forecasting, production planning, and inventory tools; validate source data, formulas, and assumptions and resolve discrepancies

About you

• 5+ years in demand planning, production planning, supply planning, S&OP, or related supply-chain work, preferably in food manufacturing or CPG, including direct ownership of forecasts and production plans


• Strong analytical skills in forecasting, production planning, inventory management, and supply-chain analysis; ability to translate demand into production and inventory requirements


• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills; ERP experience required and NetSuite familiarity a plus


• Effective communication and collaboration across internal teams and external production partners; ability to challenge assumptions constructively


• Rigorous attention to detail, accuracy, accountability, and follow-through; ability to anticipate problems and manage shifting priorities


• Demonstrated experience implementing and tracking manufacturing or supply-chain cost savings initiatives, preferably with co-manufacturers or external suppliers


• Experience with co-manufacturers strongly preferred; commercialization, manufacturing transitions, and multi-SKU, multi-location planning preferred
