Detpak Packaging Philippines, Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a Maintenance & Quality Lead to ensure production equipment and facility assets are kept to high standards. You will drive OEE, lead preventive maintenance, and coordinate training and development across the team.

You will champion GMP/HACCP/ISO compliance, lead maintenance contractors, and push for cost-efficiency and continuous improvement to meet customer requirements and company targets.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Manage and lead the application and maintenance of the company processing system as BRC, ISO and provides pivotal assistance in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and practices in order to achieve and maintain a standard working environment.
• Lead and manage the production department.
• Coordinate maintenance contractors to work in line with the maintenance schedule.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities.
• Responsible to achieve wastage standard and machine efficiencies.
• Maintain high standard in product quality as well as quality and efficiency in all work processes.
• Manage and control direct raw materials and direct labour variance.
• Responsible for implementation of GMP, HACCP and ISO of the department.
• Maintain all machines in tip top condition.
• Responsible to DIFOT.
• Drive all process improvement and cost reduction projects.
• To work closely with other counterparts in assuring the achievement of company's targets and objectives.
• To carry out any task assigned by the company.
• Acts as a catalyst for change and continuous improvement in performance, quality and safety

This role plays a critical role in supporting the overall operations of the business by ensuring that production equipment and facility assets are maintained to the required standards. The position is responsible for helping ensure products are delivered on time and in full to meet customer and business requirements.

A key performance measure for this role is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that production lines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. This is achieved by ensuring adequate manpower availability, providing appropriate training and development, implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and proactively addressing operational issues through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.

The role has a significant impact on factory performance, productivity, and cost efficiency. It is accountable for supporting the timely and cost-effective delivery of products while maintaining operational excellence.

In addition, this role is a key contributor to the organization's quality management objectives. It is responsible for driving the implementation and compliance of quality standards, procedures, and best practices across operations. The position also plays an active role in achieving and maintaining quality certifications such as BRC and ISO, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
