Job summary

Woolworths Group International is seeking a Product Safety & Compliance Specialist to ensure MarketPlus delivers safe, compliant, and quality products. You will implement controls to address risks around seller onboarding, product safety, authenticity, IP, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead the creation of policies, govern frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and improve compliance across the marketplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in product safety and regulatory compliance within a marketplace or retail environment.
• Ability to develop and implement compliance policies and governance frameworks.
• Strong focus on quality assurance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for product safety and compliance across the marketplace.
• Ensure onboarding processes meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement regulatory policies and governance frameworks.
• Manage risk, fraud, counterfeit, and non-compliant listings with data-driven approaches.
• Oversee incident response, recalls, and stakeholder communications.
• Educate sellers and build resources to promote compliance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and commercial teams.
