Job summary

AIA is seeking a Product Manager to oversee the BPLAC product and fund portfolios, driving value against KPIs and implementing corrective actions as needed. The role focuses on performance tracking, pricing strategies, and ensuring alignment with company targets.

You will generate regular performance reports, analyze customer demographics, monitor launches, and collaborate with actuarial, distribution, and analytics teams to support strategic planning and business plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or data-related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to analyze financial data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Excel; SAS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Tracks product performance vs business objectives and implements corrective measures to hit targets.
• Provides sales support through regular product performance reports for strategy development.
• Monitors performance of launched products through reports and analysis of product strategy.
• Recommends target product mix and monitors actual mix against goals.
• Monitors customer complaints on product and fund performance; conducts root cause analysis.
• Coordinates with Actuarial on factors affecting VONB and related margins.
• Collaborates with Distribution Support for promotion of products in focus.
• Supports preparation of business plans and strategies aligned with forecasts.
• Performs ad-hoc data analysis and creates dashboards and BI materials.
• Drove personal development via Development Action Plan; performs other tasks as needed.
