Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking a highly analytical Product Support Specialist to bolster the life insurance product portfolio. You will work with Product Management, IT, Marketing, Customer Service, and Underwriting to ensure accurate policy values and support proposal systems.

Responsibilities include validating policy data, developing product guidelines, monitoring monthly performance, and generating reports for management, while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a life insurance company.
• Experience in product management, product support, or project management preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including calculations and data analysis.
• Understanding of life insurance products and industry practices.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and product compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Validate and ensure the accuracy of policy values within life administration and supporting systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for internal stakeholders regarding product specifications, calculations, and product-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with IT, Marketing, Customer Service, and New Business & Underwriting teams on product-related initiatives.
• Maintain and support sales proposal systems.
• Ensure proposal values, assumptions, and product information remain accurate and up to date.
• Assist in system enhancements and testing activities.
• Review and validate product proposals, marketing materials, and training content.
• Assist in developing product guidelines and enhancing existing documentation.
• Support product launches and changes through documentation and communication.
• Monitor monthly product performance for Individual Life business.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports for management and business stakeholders.
• Analyze product trends and provide insights to support decision-making.
