Job summary

Shopee Philippines invites a highly motivated intern to support the Governance product team. You will help plan the listing governance strategy roadmap and assist in ensuring our e-commerce ecosystem complies with local laws and regulations.

You will partner with Legal, Operations and Product to mitigate risk, enhance the Governance platform (Detection, Review, Penalty & Feedback), and learn end-to-end product development with designers, data scientists, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree as specified.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
• Analytical and quantitative reasoning.
• Data-based decision making with good critical thinking.
• Adaptive and open to dynamic environments.
• Full-time interns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan overall listing governance strategy roadmap and ensure compliance with local laws.
• Drive preventive risk analysis and liaise with Legal, Operation and Product teams to resolve incidents.
• Enhance Governance platform to cover Detection, Review, Penalty & Feedback systems.
• Deep dive into workflows to support local operations across regions at scale.
• Drive improvements in listing governance products and deliver solutions with impact.
• Take ownership of the product development cycle with designers, analysts, engineers and data scientists.
