Job summary

Shopee Philippines is offering a full-time internship opportunity for students pursuing Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Business teams to ideate and execute product strategies while keeping user experience at the forefront.

You'll work with data to understand customer behavior, track KPIs, and propose iterations.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science and Mathematics or a related science/tech field preferred
• Self-starter mentality with ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and agile working environment
• Effectively communicate complex business/technical information with different audiences verbally or in writing
• Good critical thinking and data-based decision-making skills
• Adaptable, open-minded, quick learner
• Care deeply about user experience and business impact for both Shopee and the ecommerce ecosystem
• Full-time interns preferred
• Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Business to bring ideas to life
• Support the ideation and execution of product strategy with cross-functional teams to drive overall business impact while ensuring good user experience
• Create product solutions for both internal and external end-users initiate, analyse, propose, launch and maintain app products
• Work with data to understand customer behaviour and performance of features be data-driven in estimating size of impact and determining prioritisation
• Gather insights on product adoption/improvements, track KPIs, identify key metrics and propose further iterations
• Help deliver product solutions with high business impact, working closely with designers and engineers throughout the development process
• Take ownership of the product development lifecycle and ensure timely delivery of products
