Job summary

UnionBank is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of consumer banking products at UnionBank Square, Eastwood, Quezon City. You will identify customer needs, drive product innovation, and work with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance to keep products competitive and compliant.

• Knowledge of BSP regulations, consumer protection, AML/KYC, and Philippine banking practices.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

About The Role

The Product Manager will lead the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of consumer banking products. This role is responsible for identifying customer needs, driving product innovation, and delivering solutions that support business growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The Product Manager will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure products remain competitive and aligned with market demands. This position plays a key role in advancing the bank's retail banking strategy while ensuring adherence to regulatory and risk management requirements within the Philippine banking industry.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute product strategies for consumer banking products, including deposits, loans, credit cards, digital banking, payments, and other retail banking solutions.
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept development, market assessment, business case preparation, launch, and post-implementation review.
• Analyze customer insights, market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and enhance customer experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve product features, processes, and customer journeys.
• Monitor product performance, profitability, portfolio growth, and utilization metrics, recommending actions to improve results.
