Job summary

UnionBank is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of consumer banking products at UnionBank Square, Eastwood, Quezon City. You will identify customer needs, drive product innovation, and work with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance to keep products competitive and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Management, or related field.
• Experience in product management, retail banking, consumer lending, digital banking, or related financial services.
• Strong understanding of consumer banking products, customer behavior, product development, and portfolio mgmt.
• Knowledge of BSP regulations, consumer protection, AML/KYC, and Philippine banking practices.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies for consumer banking products (deposits, loans, cards, digital, payments).
• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-implementation review.
• Analyze customer insights, market trends, and competition to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design features and customer journeys.
• Monitor profitability, portfolio growth, and utilization; propose actions to improve results.
• Prepare product proposals, pricing, and business cases for management approval.
• Ensure compliance with BSP regulations, consumer protection, AML, and internal policies.
• Lead product launches including operations readiness, training, and marketing support.
• Work with technology and operations on process improvements and digital initiatives.
• Manage customer feedback and resolve product-related issues to improve service.
• Support strategic initiatives and prepare management reports and portfolio analyses.
