Job summary

Kareila Management Corporation (S&R Membership Shopping) is seeking a seasoned professional to lead product development and sourcing initiatives in a fast-moving retail environment. You will drive end-to-end projects, manage supplier negotiations, and craft packaging and marketing collateral to support launches.

The role requires strong market insight, P&L awareness, and exemplary leadership to coordinate with stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance across all phases of product development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, sourcing, category management, or private label, preferably in FMCG or retail.
• Proven experience in end-to-end product development and managing multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and product positioning.
• Vendor sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, cost structures, logistics, and supply chain operations.
• Experience with product quality standards, regulatory requirements, and testing processes.
• Strong commercial acumen including pricing strategy and P&L management.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and results-driven with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and develop project proposals to support business opportunities.
• Manage sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier selection and negotiation.
• Develop packaging and marketing materials to support the projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external shareholders to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
• Support operations in new product launch activities.
