Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Product Development Specialist for a fast-growing beauty brand in the Philippines. You will lead end-to-end development of new products, from concept through to commercial launch, and work with suppliers and external partners to drive innovation.

You will analyze market trends, manage portfolio opportunities, and support pricing strategy while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations. This role offers a hybrid work setup and a platform to influence strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Educational qualifications in business, management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in portfolio management, product innovation, product development, R&D, category management, or commercial strategy.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and translate insights into growth opportunities.
• Experience managing projects from concept through implementation, including new product launches or business expansion initiatives.
• Knowledge of FDA compliance requirements, regulatory processes, or product approval environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of new products, procedures, and service offerings from concept through to commercial launch.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights, competitive activity, and portfolio performance to identify innovation opportunities.
• Evaluate portfolio gaps and propose new products and initiatives that support business growth.
• Manage innovation projects including new brand launches, expansion initiatives, and strategic growth programmes.
• Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and external partners throughout concept development, testing, and commercialisation stages.
• Coordinate product research, testing, validation, and R&D activities to ensure readiness for launch.
• Support pricing strategy, promotional planning, and commercial recommendations to maximise category performance and profitability.
• Monitor and maintain awareness of FDA regulations, compliance requirements, and approval processes relevant to products and procedures.
• Develop business cases and present recommendations for new portfolio opportunities, category expansion, and innovation initiatives.
