Job summary

INSPI Philippine Venture Merchandise Corp. is seeking a Product Development Officer to drive end-to-end development of baby care, personal care, and intimate care products from concept to launch.

The role involves market research, formulation coordination, supplier management, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will oversee cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, merchandising, and production, coordinate packaging development, and manage timelines to deliver market-ready

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in product development (FMCG, baby category, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or similar).
• Knowledge of formulation, ingredients, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new baby care, personal care, and intimate care product concepts based on market trends and consumer needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, formulators, and manufacturers for product development.
• Evaluate product samples, formulations, fragrances, textures, and packaging.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and trend research.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor products and regulatory requirements; identify gaps and opportunities.
• Translate insights into product concepts and positioning; source and evaluate suppliers.
• Coordinate product registration and documentation; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct stability, safety, and performance testing; assess efficacy and consumer acceptability.
• Manage product development timelines from concept to launch; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate on packaging design, materials, and functionality; ensure branding alignment and cost optimization.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and product briefs; track performance post-launch.
