About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Product Data Encoder (with Photography duties) to join our team in Las Pinas City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our product information systems. You will be responsible for encoding product data into our databases whilst also capturing high-quality product photographs for our catalogues and digital platforms. This role is essential to ensuring that our customers receive accurate product information and that our marketing and sales teams have the visual assets they need to represent our products effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Encoding all legally required product information onto labels, including ingredient lists, nutritional data, and safety instructions

• Ensuring label designs are optimised for different packaging formats and sizes

• Designing and creating product labels that adhere to brand guidelines and regulatory requirements

• Proofreading and verifying the accuracy of all label content prior to production

• Maintaining an organised digital library of approved label designs and templates

• Providing support and guidance to the production team on label-related matters

• Take high-quality, properly lit product images that align with company specifications and brand guidelines.

• Edit and optimise product images for use across various platforms, including catalogues, websites, and marketing materials

• Maintain organised digital asset libraries and ensure all product data and images are properly filed and easily retrievable

• Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of encoded product data

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure product information remains current and consistent

• Identify and report discrepancies, errors, or missing information in product records

What we're looking for

• Minimum high school diploma required for this position.

• 2-3 years of experience in encoding for the retail or consumer goods industry is preferred

• Basic knowledge of Bartender Software is required.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to ensure label content is accurate and compliant

• Good understanding of label regulations and best practices in target markets

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Basic photography skills and familiarity with product photography techniques, or willingness to develop these skills

• Experience with any image editing softwares

• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Knowledge of retail and consumer products industry practices and standards

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Prior experience in data encoding, product cataloguing, or similar administrative roles is advantageous
