Job summary

Digital Bakery Pte. Ltd. in Makati City, Philippines, seeks a Product and Process Project Engineer to drive product development and manufacturing improvement. You will manage technical data, BOMs, routings, and cost information while coordinating with ERP teams.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Product and Process Project Engineer to support product development, manufacturing process improvement, technical data management, and HVAC cost estimation. In this role, you will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, Project Management, and ERP/Data teams to ensure products are efficiently designed, accurately documented, and ready for manufacturing.

The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and analytical, with experience in technical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing processes, industrial costing, ERP systems (Odoo or SAP), and digital engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and enhancement of products from technical concept through manufacturing implementation.
• Create, maintain, and manage technical data, including item masters, Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, manufacturing documentation, product records, and cost information.
• Assist in product industrialization by developing manufacturing processes, production methods, tooling requirements, machine utilization, workflows, and work instructions.
• Support HVAC estimation activities, including quantity take-offs, equipment selection, technical assumptions, manufacturing time estimates, industrial costing, and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with estimating and proposal teams by validating quantities, materials, technical feasibility, alternative solutions, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical support to the Procurement team by preparing material specifications, evaluating supplier quotations, comparing proposals, and assisting in supplier negotiations.
• Coordinate with Material Planning to monitor inventory levels, material requirements, supplier lead times, shortages, and procurement schedules.
• Assist in ERP (Odoo/SAP) data management, including data preparation, validation, migration, testing, and maintenance.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to improve documentation, reporting, data analysis, and engineering productivity.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in engineering processes, manufacturing efficiency, and technical data management.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, HVAC, industrial engineering, sheet metal fabrication, ventilation systems, air treatment, or industrial equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product structures, and manufacturing documentation.
• Solid understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, manufacturing methods, raw materials, and industrial costing.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, including ventilation, air handling, ductwork, or building services, is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience handling structured technical data.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑motivated and capable of managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

• Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
• Experience in HVAC estimating, cost estimation, quantity take‑offs, or technical proposal support.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar productivity platforms.
