Job summary

Oleo-Fats Inc. (OFI) in the Philippines seeks a Process Engineer to design, optimize and scale production processes in a food/fat processing environment. You will evaluate equipment, ensure product quality, and collaborate with QA, operations, and maintenance teams to deliver consistent output.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a professional license. You will identify critical parameters, justify equipment choices, and document process data to support safe, efficient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
• Professional license mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks according to the set rules, policies and guidelines as cited in Product Design Manual.
• Design and develop processes to optimize efficient process flow, reduce process or product variability, improve process capability to deliver consistent product output and improve employee safety.
• Identify the process needed for new items for each process steps taking account of Safety, Equipment, Product properties, Environmental, Food Safety, Behaviors, Utility requirements and plant capability/capacity , Production environment, raw material dosing, product processing, product filling, product packing, waste processing and disposal, capacity and line balance
• Validate Each process needed
• Identify critical parameters for each process
• Recommend and technically justify equipment and processes
• Establish internal documentation process for determining and recording process parameters
• Identify and establish production process and process parameters needed for target product quality
• Provide weekly plan of activities and report of accomplishment based on plan
• Provide technical expertise in sourcing, installation, and commissioning of new equipment/machines
• Conduct machine trial to check compatibility with the intended product
• Research and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency

Key Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Education: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Professional license mandatory.




• Experienced: Not required




• Technical skills: Proficiency in plant and equipment design, stoichiometry, unit operations, manufacturing process optimization, data analysis tools, and project management. Familiarity with AUTO CAD an advantage.




• Lean Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies an advantage




• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to convey technical information and lead cross-functional teams




• Project Management: Familiarity in Project Management, including planning, execution and monitoring




• Location: Willing to work in Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
