Job summary

Digital Bakery is looking for an HVAC / Ventilation BIM Modeler (Revit) to support our client in developing accurate and high-quality 2D and 3D HVAC models.

This role goes beyond drafting—you will be involved in technical coordination, design validation, and project support, with opportunities to grow into work preparation and technical planning functions as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in HVAC drafting, BIM modeling, or mechanical design.
• Proven experience working with Autodesk Revit (ideally for MEP or HVAC systems).
• Experience preparing shop drawings or construction documentation.
• Exposure to HVAC, Ventilation systems and technical requirements for construction is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Adapt ventilation layouts according to architectural plans, tender documentation.
• Model HVAC installations based on project drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
• Ensure models comply with applicable ventilation standards.
• Update and revise drawings throughout the project lifecycle as required.
• Verify dimensions, connections, and technical feasibility within the Revit model.
• Support Project leaders to come to a sound technical model.
• Identify potential design conflicts and contribute to technical solutions.

Digital Bakery is looking for a HVAC / Ventilation BIM Modeler (Revit) to support our client in developing accurate and high-quality 2D and 3D HVAC models.

This role goes beyond drafting—you will be involved in technical coordination, design validation, and project support, with opportunities to grow into work preparation and technical planning functions as you gain experience.

Our client is a well-established European engineering company specializing in HVAC and ventilation systems for construction projects. They are known for delivering high-quality technical solutions, combining design expertise with practical execution across a range of commercial and industrial developments.

You will be working closely with an experienced international team, contributing to projects that require precision, innovation, and strong technical coordination.

HVAC / Ventilation Drafting using Autodesk Revit to come to accurate 2D and 3D Models:

• Adapt ventilation layouts according to architectural plans, tender documentation
• Model HVAC installations based on project drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
• Ensure models comply with applicable ventilation standards

Technical Drawings and Documentation

• Update and revise drawings throughout the project lifecycle as required.
• Verify dimensions, connections, and technical feasibility within the Revit model.
• Support Project leaders to come to a sound technical model.
• Identify potential design conflicts and contribute to technical solutions

Material Schedules and Revit Extraction

• Generate material schedules directly from Revit models.
• Extract quantities and component lists including items such as dampers, air grilles, and ducting components.
• Support procurement and installation teams with accurate technical documentation.

Work Preparation Support (Future Growth)

• Assist in preparing technical documentation for installation and project execution: installation plans, delivery lists, and execution details.
• Support project leaders in coordinating technical details for installation teams and suppliers.
• Contribute to improving workflows related to material planning and technical documentation.
• Support with planning and logistics
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Discuss with sites on practical execution matters

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering/technical field.

Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience in HVAC drafting, BIM modeling, or mechanical design.
• Proven experience working with Autodesk Revit (ideally for MEP or HVAC systems).
• Experience preparing shop drawings or construction documentation.
• Exposure to HVAC, Ventilation systems and technical requirements for construction is a big plus
• Insights in construction methods and/or HVAC is a big plus

Technical Skills:

• Autodesk Revit (BIM modeling)
• Ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings
• Experience with HVAC or ventilation systems
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration within a technical team
• Eager to learn and to grow in a role that might lead to work preparation and technical coordination
