Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to manage purchasing operations, monitor stock levels, research vendors, track orders, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

You will update internal databases, conduct market research on pricing trends, and prepare cost analyses while liaising with warehouse staff to ensure products arrive in good condition.

Qualifications

• BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field.
• Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant or similar role.
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
• Hands-on experience with purchasing software (Procurify or SpendMap).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Knowledge of market research.
• Solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
• Research potential vendors
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
