Job summary

Funmania Inc. is seeking a hands-on Procurement Specialist in Metro Manila to source food ingredients, negotiate with suppliers, and manage purchasing processes.

The role requires coordination with kitchen, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and quality for events and catering services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of procurement experience in catering, hospitality, or events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in catering, hospitality, or events industry or related field.
• Knowledge of food supply chain and event logistics is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and purchasing/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase food ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
• Request and compare supplier quotations.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and monitor Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with suppliers, kitchen, warehouse, and operations teams.
• Check the quality, quantity, and freshness of delivered items.
• Maintain purchasing records and supplier information.
• Monitor inventory needs and prevent stock shortages.
• Ensure purchases follow company policies and approved budgets.
