Job summary

A logistics and transportation company is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage Purchase Requisitions, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate cost computations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in Procurement or Contract Management. Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets required. This full-time role is based on-site in Makati, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in Procurement or Contract Management.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and understanding of VAT.

Responsibilities

• Manage Purchase Requisitions and supplier negotiations.
• Coordinate cost computation and savings opportunities.
• Ensure timely pricing responses and contract management.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
• Ensure pricing responses and signed contracts/proposals are provided on time.
• Update contact information and support contract management.

Key Responsibilities

• To be responsible for Purchase Requisitions and ensure that we receive all materials meet company standards and price comparison
• Negotiation with supplier for the best commercial, payment term, shipment
• Manage/coordinate cost computation and reviews
• Looking for opportunities for savings
• Ensure pricing responses and signed contracts/proposals are provided on time
• Help with updating contact information and support contract management

Key Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Transportation, Business Management, Accounting, Legal or an equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years of experience in the roles of Procurement, Pricing, Vendor Management, and/or Contract Management, especially in the Logistics and Transportation Industry
• Good Excel/Google Sheet skills and a general understanding of VAT
