Job summary

Altrad Pacific Shared Services Inc in the Philippines seeks a Procurement Officer to provide professional procurement administration for the Australian business, aiming for cost efficiency and reliable supply across all Altrad branches and projects.

You will issue market enquiries, negotiate prices, participate in RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, manage supplier performance, and maintain records in the Pronto ERP, with a hybrid work setup in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of procurement experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, or Shared Services.
• Proficient in MS Office and procurement tools.
• Willing to work in a hybrid setup in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Responsibilities

• Compile and issue enquiries to the market place.
• Negotiate on price and achieve cost reductions in procurement.
• Participate in commercial/technical RFP/RFQ/RFI and bid evaluations.
• Process requisitions for goods and services.
• Maintain supplier relationships and manage performance.
• Keep accurate records of progress and delivery against project schedules.
• Produce and maintain procurement reports from the ERP (Pronto).
• Perform other duties as required.

Job description

The Procurement Officer is responsible in providing professional procurement administration for the Australian business to a high standard while actively contribute to company operations through proactive cost savings initiatives and ensuring seamless supply of goods and services to all Altrad Services branches and projects.

• Compiling and Issuing Enquiries to the market place.
• Negotiate on Price and achieve demonstrable cost reductions in the procurement of goods and services
• Participate in Commercial and Technical RFP/RFQ/RFI and Bid Evaluations
• Processing requisitions for the supply of goods and services
• Effectively building relationships with all suppliers
• Accurate record keeping of progress/delivery schedules against Project Schedules
• Engaging suppliers on performance issues
• Review new supplier information and procedures to determine suitability for approval
• Produce and maintain purchasing and spend records from company ERP (Pronto)
• Produce and maintain all Procurement reports as directed
• Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or any related courses
• With at least 3 + years of procurement experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Mining or Services and in a Shared Services Environment
• Knowledgeable in using MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and any related procurement tool/software
• Willing to be assigned on a hybrid set-up in Alabang, Muntinlupa
