You will ensure timely, cost-effective procurement in line with specifications and policies. The role involves negotiating contracts, evaluating suppliers, coordinating with project teams, issuing PO’s, and monitoring deliveries to meet deadlines while maintaining compliance with local regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of procurement experience in construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers of construction materials, tools, heavy equipment, and engineering services.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, track performance, and maintain approved vendor lists.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and estimators to forecast procurement needs.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with project timelines.
• Monitor delivery schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement logs, cost records, and supplier documentation.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks related to supply chain disruptions or price volatility.
• Support cost control by comparing quotes and leveraging volume discounts.
