Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions in Makati is seeking a Procurement Engineer with AU/NZ experience to support procurement for solar farm and BESS projects across Australia and New Zealand. The role reports to the AU/NZ Procurement Manager and focuses on civil, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure procurement from the Philippines.

You will manage RFQs, supplier bids, purchase orders, and supplier communications while ensuring quality, compliance, and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Business or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in a procurement or supply chain role, ideally within construction or renewable energy.
• Experience issuing and managing RFQs, purchase orders, and basic supplier agreements.
• Understanding of procurement documentation, technical specifications, and construction drawings.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue RFQs and coordinate receipt of supplier quotations.
• Assist in evaluating technical and commercial aspects of bids.
• Support negotiations on pricing, lead times, and terms.
• Assist in drafting and issuing purchase orders.
• Track order status and escalated delays or discrepancies.
• Coordinate communication with suppliers to clarify specs and resolve queries.
• Assist with supplier meetings, follow-up actions, and record keeping.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and logs.
• Enter and track data in ERP systems.
• Ensure documents are filed per internal QA processes.
• Liaise with engineering and project teams to confirm material requirements.
• Ensure procurement activities align with construction timelines.
• Escalate issues to the Procurement Manager for resolution.
• Model HSE behaviours and ensure compliance with HSE rules.
