Job summary

San Miguel Corporation is seeking a procurement professional to support CAPEX requirements across business units and plants in the Philippines. You will manage sourcing, RFQs, and supplier evaluations, ensuring alignment with project needs and delivery timelines.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement or project management, with strong analytical and negotiation skills, and familiarity with CAPEX processes and DUPA analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years experience in procurement, project management, contract management, or related field.
• Working knowledge of procurement processes, CAPEX procurement and/or project management preferred.
• Experience supporting CAPEX procurement is an advantage.
• Knowledge of DUPA (Detailed Unit Price Analysis) required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Ability to review project requirements, evaluate costs, and support procurement decisions.
• Good communication and negotiation skills; able to coordinate with BU, plant teams, suppliers, contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support CAPEX procurement for business units and plants.
• Manage procurement process for BU/Plant CAPEX projects from requirements through sourcing and purchasing.
• Review project specifications, scope of work, and procurement requirements to ensure alignment with project needs.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and end-user teams to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Assist in sourcing, canvassing, and evaluating suppliers and contractors for CAPEX projects.
• Prepare and review RFQs, bid documents, and other procurement-related documents.
• Support the evaluation of quotations, cost comparisons, and supplier proposals.
• Assist in DUPA preparation and analysis to support cost estimates and procurement decisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on pricing, technical clarifications, delivery schedules, and contract requirements.
• Assist in contract management, purchase order processing, and monitoring of procurement activities.
• Track project procurement timelines, deliverables, and outstanding requirements to support timely project completion.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, project documentation, and reports.
• Support cost analysis, budget monitoring, and other analytical activities related to CAPEX projects.
