Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a Process Technician for the Pump Module area to sustain and improve the process line through hands-on evaluation and experimentation. The role focuses on real-time issue identification and escalation to engineering as needed.

The candidate should have experience in semiconductor manufacturing, and be able to document investigations, DOE-based experiments, and basic SPC/CPK knowledge. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Experience in engineering task execution, such as process investigation, evaluation, and documentation.
• Basic knowledge in SPC and process capability.
• Basic knowledge in assembly, packing, soldering, fiber optic, fiber alignment, burn in and testing process.
• Understand engineering discipline and methodology such as DOE, 7 QC Tools and Problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• The Process Technician for the Pump Module area is responsible for the process line sustaining engineering activities that carried out the actual execution and leg works such as evaluation and experiment. This also include attending and investigating process issues in real time with proper escalation to engineers if necessary.

• Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

• Experience in engineering task execution, such as process investigation, evaluation, and documentation.

• Basic knowledge in SPC and process capability.

• Basic knowledge in assembly, packing, soldering, fiber optic, fiber alignment, burn in and testing process.
