Job summary

Coherent Corp. Philippines is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to sustain production line requirements through process and equipment engineering activities.

You will ensure all machines and stations operate reliably and support yield improvement, cost reduction, and product qualifications. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience in process and equipment engineering support.

Job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible in sustaining production line requirements with respect to process and equipment engineering activities. He/she is responsible in ensuring all machines/equipment/process stations are working in good condition and is able to meet requirement of production line. Other periodic responsibility includes preventive maintenance, calibration support, machine repairs, jigs and fixtures improvement, and support to any engineering activities related to yield improvement, cost reduction, product qualifications, etc.

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology, or any Engineering Course (Diploma, Bachelors) or its equivalents with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in process and equipment engineering support.

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite / hybrid / remote
