Job summary

Bühler Group Philippines is seeking an engineer to assist the Technology Department by preparing correct information according to Bühler standards, designing concept diagrams, and specifying machines for projects. You will provide technical support to sales, quotations and customer service.

You will lead commissioning and mill surveys for simple plants and single machines, assess installations, test software, and coordinate with customers, project managers and site teams to ensure smooth,

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering degree or related field.
• A miller apprenticeship is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in flour milling.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technology Department with knowledge sharing and diagram creation for simple and standard projects.
• Establish concept flow diagrams following Bühler standards for simple projects and single machines.
• Test software before commissioning.
• Assess mechanical and electrical installation; resolve questions during installation and commissioning; verify IO tests before dry run.
• Take the lead and manage commissioning projects; communicate with customer, project manager and team manager regularly.
• Start up plant/equipment with product; adjust processes for contractual performance.
• Record data during commissioning and mill surveys; produce reports.
• Document deviations and technical issues in Bühler CAQ system.

Job description

Assist the Technology Department in providing correct information according to Buhler standards for the design of concept diagrams and correct machine specifications. Provide technical support to sales, quotation, and customer service department. Establish solutions for customer opportunities and projects. Commissioning and mill surveys of simple plants and single machines. Commissioning support for standard and complex plants.

• Support technology department with sharing knowledge and skills, establish diagrams for simple and standard projects
• Establish concept flow diagrams according Buhler standards (simple projects and single machines)
• Test software program before going for commissioning
• Assess mechanical and electrical installation and communicate with personal in charge. Resolve questions or problems that occur during installation and commissioning. Verify that direction and IO test has been done before doing a dry run
• Take the lead and manage the project during commissioning and communicate with the customer, project manager and team manager on a regularly basis to ensure projects run smoothly with normal progress.
• Start up the plant or equipment with product and adjust process to ensure plant is running efficiently on contractual performance.
• Record data during commissioning, and mill surveys. Reports during commissioning and after return in a qualified manner. Capture all relevant data on Buhler system
• Record any project deviations, technical issues and product improvements in the Bühler CAQ system
