Job summary

Bühler Group seeks an engineering support professional to assist the Technology Department by designing concept diagrams and specifying machines according to Bühler standards. You will provide technical support to Sales, Quotation, and Customer Service teams, and develop solutions for customer opportunities and projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineering degree or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in flour milling.
• Miller apprenticeship preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the technology department by sharing knowledge and establishing diagrams for simple projects.
• Establish concept flow diagrams according to Bühler standards for simple projects and single machines.
• Test software programs before commissioning.
• Assess mechanical and electrical installations, communicate with responsible personnel, resolve questions or problems that arise during installation and commissioning, and verify that direction and IO tests have been completed before a dry run.
• Lead and manage the project during commissioning, communicating with the customer, project manager, and team manager on a regular basis to ensure projects run smoothly and on schedule.
• Start up the plant or equipment with the product and adjust the process to ensure efficient operation according to contractual performance.
• Record data during commissioning and mill surveys, produce reports during commissioning and after return in a qualified manner, and capture all relevant data on the Bühler CAQ system.
• Document any project deviations, technical issues, and product improvements in the Bühler CAQ system.
