The Process Engineer will primarily work for FLOW water and wastewater treatment plant and conveyance projects, focusing on process and overall engineering design, project execution, testing and commissioning.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for preparing process design calculations, hydraulic profiles, mass balance, Process Flow Diagram, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, general plant arrangement, and process equipment capacity sizing.
- Provide professional sign and seal on prepared or reviewed designs prepared by foreign colleagues to ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Contribute inputs in the overall design of the plant and/or conveyance system, including electromechanical equipment, instrumentation, and automation.
- Participate in technical discussions with various stakeholders, providing technical support and clarifying any enquiries.
- Support project management, construction supervision, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Create and design ideas that contribute to improved solutions and processes, maintaining high quality of STP and reuse water facilities.
- Support and provide inputs in internal business processes of FLOW.
- Other duties as assigned by Department Head.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Has leadership skills.
- Technical knowledge in specialized field (water & wastewater treatment plant design).
- Proficiency with desktop applications (MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD).
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering.
EXPERIENCE
Preferably 3-5 years of experience in design and engineering of process plants.
LICENSE(S) REQUIRED
PRC License (Chemical Engineer).
