Job summary

ZAMA Precision Industry Manufacturing Philippines, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Process Improvement professional to analyze and optimize manufacturing workflows across all workshops.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. Responsibilities include time studies, bottleneck analysis, KPI monitoring (OEE, yield, downtime), and cross-functional coordination, with a focus on sustaining improvements through audits and standardization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ manufacturing experience as Process Improvement in automotive or electronics/semiconductor or precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Six Sigma methodologies.
• Report generation and presentation skills.
• Lean manufacturing and Just-in-time discipline.
• Total Productive Maintenance.
• Familiarity with SAP system.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes, material flow, and manufacturing workflows through direct observation and data analysis.
• Conduct time studies, motion studies, work sampling, and productivity analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify bottlenecks, recurring losses, machine downtime, and inefficiencies affecting production performance.
• Lead improvements related to Cost Reduction Projects and productivity gains.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to implement improvements.
• Monitor KPIs including Productivity, OEE, Yield, Scrap Rate, Downtime, Cost, and On-Time Delivery.
• Initiate projects to improve machine utilization, production capacity, labor productivity, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Lead setup time reduction and changeover improvement activities.
• Support factory layout optimization and material flow improvements to minimize handling and transportation losses.
• Conduct regular improvement review meetings and present reports on progress and cost savings.
• Promote employee involvement in continuous improvement with coaching and training on problem-solving methodologies.
• Ensure sustainability through audits, monitoring, and standardization.
