Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an MFG & PROCESS DVL Engineer II in the Philippines to drive end-to-end connector manufacturing process development from raw materials to final assemblies.

You will guide a cross-functional team across product development and plant operations for new product launches. In the short term, you will collaborate with MPDE teams in China to launch projects and migrate products to the PH plant, and long term, work with product design teams in China and the US to bring

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in high precision connector assembly process development or automation development.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical, mechatronics engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English, strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Data-oriented problem solving and shopfloor hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of quality control and quality issue analysis.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end connector manufacturing process development, from raw material to final assembly.
• Proofing concept for assembly process and tooling; perform process development DOE.
• Lead technical issues from LVM to HVM; tooling design & qualification.
• Platform manufacturing process development for scalable production.
• Provide detailed process definitions to automation/MC teams.
• Drive cost through manufacturability improvements and design optimization.
• Launch products on time with cross-functional teams and document processes (DFM, FMEAs, WI).
