Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking a MFG & PROCESS DVL Engineer II—Molding to lead new molding process development for the new PH plant. You will collaborate daily with product development and plant teams on product launches, ensuring KPI targets such as schedule, cost, and quality are met.

The role involves platforming manufacturing processes, design proofing, and working with global teams in China and the US to drive project success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of mold design, process, and troubleshooting knowledge/experience.
  • Strong knowledge of tool fabrication, tool-steel application/selection, heat treating, and plating/coating.
  • Strong knowledge of injection molding processes (Injection, insert molding, two-shot, etc.).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Overall molding process development, coordinating with interaction processes to ensure best process and cost.
  • Concept design & proofing for molding process and tooling, DOE.
  • Technical leadership and troubleshooting from LVM to HVM in process development and tooling.
  • Platforming manufacturing process development.
  • Launch product at rate through FACA/QCPA tools.
