Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an MFG & PROCESS DVL Engineer II to drive end-to-end manufacturing process development for connector products. You will collaborate with product design teams in China and the US and guide MPDE/ME/operations for successful launches with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes process definition, tooling design, DOE, and platform development, with a focus on manufacturability, cost feasibility, and meeting schedule and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in precision assembly process development or automation.
• Knowledge of metals, plastics, machining and die casting.
• Data-driven problem solving and hands-on shop experience.
• Cost awareness and process optimization expertise.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end connector manufacturing process development from raw materials to final assemblies.
• Concept design and proofing for assembly process and tooling; DOE.
• Technical leadership and troubleshooting across the process development cycle.
• Platform manufacturing process development and documentation.
• Provide detailed process specs for automation development.
• Drive manufacturability and cost feasibility; ensure on-time launches.
• Document processes (DFM, tooling specs, FMEAs, WI, QC/QA records).
