Job summary

ZACHRY PHILIPPINES, INC. seeks a Process Designer to develop process drawings (PFD, P&ID, MSD) from sketches and redlines, using CAD software. You will coordinate with the Process Lead Designer to meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years in oil & gas process design, strong AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with other P&ID tools. Candidates should be organized, collaborative, and able to multi-task in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Non-Tertiary/Technical-Vocational or College education.
• At least 5 years of experience in process design, specifically in oil and gas projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of other drawing software (Microstation, AutoPlant P&ID, AVEVA P&ID, SmartPlant P&ID).
• Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, and work in a team environment.
• Willing to learn and work on a variety of tasks within multiple industries.
• Able to communicate in person, by phone, email, or video conferences.
• Detail-oriented with a quality mindset.

• Creates assigned Process Drawings using company-approved software for client approval and/or construction and within the client's required specifications.
• Follows quality procedures, including proper checking, filing, and submission of deliverables.
• Takes accountability for the overall presentation of the drawings by adhering to the company’s or the client’s drafting standards and understanding the level of detail required to communicate the intended design.
• Drafting Workshare Activities: Coordinates with US counterparts
• Department Initiatives: Participate in other tasks that support the objectives of the department and the company.

Job description

I. Job Purpose

The Process Designer will prepare process drawings, such as PFD, P&ID, and MSD, from the Lead Designer/Engineer’s sketches, layout, and redlines using computer-aided design and drafting software. Coordinate with the Process Lead Designer or Engineer to complete the deliverables within the scheduled timeframe, budget, and quality standards expected by Zachry and/or the client.

II. Key Outputs

1. Process Drawings Development

• Creates assigned Process Drawings using company-approved software for client approval and/or construction and within the client's required specifications;

• Follows quality procedures, including proper checking, filing, and submission of deliverables;

• Takes accountability for the overall presentation of the drawings by adhering to the company’s or the client’s drafting standards and understanding the level of detail required to communicate the intended design.

2. Other Tasks

• Drafting Workshare Activities: Coordinates with US counterparts

III. Job Qualifications

1. Education

• Post-Secondary Non-Tertiary/Technical-Vocational Education (Vocational) or Tertiary/Baccalaureate (College) education.

2. Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in process design is desired, specifically in oil and gas projects.

3. Skills and Knowledge

• Proficient in AutoCAD

• Knowledge of other drawing software (Microstation, AutoPlant P&ID, AVEVA P&ID, SmartPlant P&ID, etc.) is desired.

4. Behavioral/Physical

• Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, and work in a team environment;

• Willing to learn and work on a variety of tasks within multiple industries;

• Able to communicate in person, by phone, email, or through video conferences

• Detail-oriented and with a quality mindset

5. Technical

• Proficient in AutoCAD and different drawing techniques;

• Able to use and update the drawing lead sheets;
