We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate has at least five (5) years of experience in mechanical design and engineering projects, with strong expertise in AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and engineering calculations. This role involves developing innovative and efficient mechanical designs for systems, products, or project-based applications, ensuring compliance with technical standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and 3D models for systems, equipment, or products
• Perform engineering calculations to support design integrity, safety, and functionality
• Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, and design documentation using AutoCAD and related software
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, production, and field engineers to ensure design accuracy and feasibility
• Translate project requirements into practical engineering solutions
• Conduct design reviews and make necessary modifications based on feedback or site conditions
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, codes, and client specifications
• Support project execution from concept design to final implementation
• Maintain accurate and organized design records and documentation
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical input to project planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mechanical design or engineering projects
• Professional Mechanical Engineer license is an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong ability to prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and engineering calculations
• Experience in product design, system design, or project-based engineering work
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and field/production teams
• High attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation
• Experience in the water treatment industry is an advantage
• Strong English communication and written communication skills
